Fashionable decor: do-it-yourself brushes

For a long time, brushes were only decoration of curtains or a detail of a uniform. This season, designers have found a new use for them.

Miracle pendant
Instead of precious stones - an elegant brush!

YOU WILL NEED: a golden chain 80 cm long, the remains of the skin are beige, paint for the skin in black and gold, a brush, universal glue. Threads for sewing.

From a leather cut a rectangle 20 cm long, 18 cm wide and a ribbon 85 cm long, 5 mm wide (if necessary, sew from several strips). Fold the rectangle inside out to the inside so that the edge 20 cm by 2.5 cm protrudes. Pass the tape into each 6th link of the chain, sew the ends of the chain, not reaching 3 cm to the ends of the tape. Fold the chain tape in half lengthwise.
Stitch the inner edge of the rectangle into the edge, grabbing the ends of the tape. Cut a fringe 5 mm wide close to the seam. Twist the brush, glue the upper edge with glue. Paint the upper edge, starting from the stitch, with strips 5 mm wide, and let the paint dry completely.

YOU WILL NEED: the remains of leather in beige and pink colors, 2 large wooden beads and 1 wooden washer, decorative paints in red and black, a brush, universal glue, thread for sewing.

From beige leather, cut a rectangle 20 cm long and 18 cm wide and a ribbon 30 cm long and 5 mm wide. Fold the rectangle so that a strip 2 cm wide protrudes from the top of the long side. Fold the tape half the width, then loop. Stitch the inside of the rectangle to the edge, at the beginning of the seam, grab the ends of the loop. Cut the fringe 5 mm wide close to the seam, grease the upper edge with glue.
Measure the girth of the brush and cut out a strip of pink leather 4 cm wide, length = girth of the brush + 1 cm.
Cut 3 rows of rhombs, for which the strip is folded at a distance of 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 cm from the top edge.
Cut the lower end of the strip with cloves. Stitch the ends of the strip face to face to a width of 5 mm. Unscrew and pull on the upper end of the brush.
Paint the beads with paint and let it dry completely. String the beads on a cord.

From golden and pink leather cut 4 rectangles 7 cm long and 5 cm wide and 2 ribbons 30 cm long and 5 mm wide.
Fold the 2 golden and 2 pink rectangles from the inside out so that the edge 7 cm long protrudes 1 cm. Fold the ribbons in half in length. Stitch the inner edge of the rectangles to the edge, grabbing the ends of the tape.
Cut a fringe 2 mm wide close to the seam. To twist brushes, at the same time to grease the top edge with glue.Insert the golden brushes into the lower holes for the laces, the pink ones into the upper.Funny

You will need:
Rectangular flap and strip of golden leather, the remains of pink and black leather, universal glue, tape, pins, sewing thread, scissors.


Step 1
From golden skin, cut a rectangle 10 cm long, 7 cm wide, and from black leather, cut a ribbon 20 cm long and 5 mm wide. Fold the rectangle with the wrong side inward, leaving one longitudinal slice protruding. Pin a skin loop at a distance of 1 cm from a short cut.

Step 2
Lay the stitch on the front side along the longitudinal cut, grabbing the buttonhole. Cut the rectangle close to the stitches into strips of approx. 3 mm.

Step 3
Apply glue to the top of the brush from the inside. Fold it with a tube, press. If necessary, cut off the excess skin. From pink leather, cut a strip 1.5 cm wide, length = girth of the brush + 6 mm. Stitch the ends of the strip face to face to a width of 3 mm. Twist and pull on the upper end of the brush.
