This outstanding woman went down in history not only as the first lady of the USA, but also as one of the style icons.

Everyone who was personally acquainted with Jacqueline Kennedy expressed absolute confidence that she earned the status of an icon of style and grace thanks to her close attention to detail! It is widely known that Jackie’s wardrobe of folk darling consisted not only of designer outfits, but also of completely “folk” brands, but for the latter she had an important rule: buttons, buckles and fasteners were always sewn! It was expensive and high-quality fittings that changed the appearance of even the most ordinary things, giving them the proper gloss.
Of course, in addition to this, Jackie Kennedy had many other rules that she strictly followed - perhaps you can take something into service!

1. Wear pink at any age

One of the completely unreasonable misconceptions of all time remains the widespread belief that pink is suitable only for young girls, and after a certain age this color goes into the category of forbidden ones, and the lady who violated the ban risks seeming ridiculous. Nothing like this! Pink color is the color of tenderness, freshness and delicacy, and shades can not be counted, so in no case do not deny yourself the pleasure of wearing them, if not in clothes, then at least in accessories.

2. If you have not thought out the image, choose basic things

If it so happened that you need to create an image at the very last moment, do not be wise - just rely on the elegance of basic things that must certainly be present in your wardrobe. So you can be completely sure that your image is impeccable.

3. No accessory will decorate you better than a smile

Jackie Kennedy was loved not only for her sophisticated style, but also for the soft femininity that she radiated. In addition, Jacqueline was always sure that photogenicity is not an innate quality, but an acquired one, so she always knew how to keep herself: you will not find a single photo where she stoops, grimaces or does not brush her hair. Only perfect posture and a soft smile!

4. Do not avoid bright colors

Another misconception - it is believed that "elegance" implies the use of only a discreet range, and any experiments with bright colors fade into the background. Fortunately, this is completely not the case, which Jackie vividly proved with his example.
Just one catchy thing in the whole image, complemented by things neutral and correctly selected accessories, is enough to make your wardrobe move away from the boring range imposed by stereotypes.

5. Open shoulders can be much more elegant than any neckline.

They say that Jackie Kennedy was not embarrassed by her shortcomings and was able to work with them - for example, her round face was compensated by the correct haircut, careless hands were adjusted with gloves. And you can certainly say that Jacqueline knew how to emphasize her merits! If you have small breasts, just shift the emphasis to something else - for example, to beautiful shoulders.

6. Never save on a good coat

There are many things that you can "cheat" on - sewn dresses, decorated skirts, a dilapidated, but charming vintage from a grandmother's chest, and much more. But never, under any circumstances, make compromises when it comes to your coat! It must be of high quality and expensive without reservation.
