“There’s no senile fashion,” Coco Chanel claimed. But a lady of age should not get involved in youth fashion ...
And yet, these ladies are often not "crazy" at all. It seems to me that they simply retained interest in their hobbies, which were devoted to in their youth.
Ah, my lovely quirks, which I could not deny myself again and again, when I was very young - I all remember you, because it was in those prehistoric times when goods were "thrown away" in stores. I remember: a Czech hairpin in the form of a clockwork, a German fur coat of bright red faux fur in a crowd of gray-brown-black coats, a long skirt (sewn independently), in which I traveled in buses and trains ... And I already forgot the replicas, which sometimes came to me and who diligently "passed ears"! And still I can not resist teenage clothing, for example, for a bike ride ...
I also remember my first trip on a quad in the desert. Because there I saw a married couple in black leather jackets and trousers, with short gray hair sticking up, bright earrings and bracelets. But the main thing is their look, which anticipated the delightful pleasure of the upcoming trip! Bikers - I immediately remembered the word, which at that time was hardly pronounced in Russia. This is devotion to my hobbies!
Although some of my relatives, who for ... and far beyond ... with no less enthusiasm sort out hangers with dresses in stores, are obviously several sizes smaller than their own, or for weeks they look for a beret or handbag that matches the color. Think about whether they are very different from the so-called freaks?
In general, by nature, we are probably all the same. Only some express their hobbies vividly and non-trivially, while others either carefully hide and even suppress them in themselves, or they do it invisibly to prying eyes.
Vivienne Westwood - Vivienne Westwood: one of the most famous English freak designers. She is considered the founder of the punk style in world fashion. Designed clothes for the punk band Sex Pistols. Does not watch TV or read newspapers. He believes that in the past they dressed more interestingly than now, therefore, in her models there are so many historical “rehashings”. Her famous quote: "Today, fashion has become so ... indifferent."
Iris Apfel (Iris Apfel) - Designer, collector, creator of the world-famous fabric manufacturing company Old World Weavers. She always looked extravagant, and in the collections she constantly mixed completely inappropriate styles to each other. However, it is claimed that she never crossed a certain line separating taste from bad taste.
And a little more “just” celebrity and streetstyle ...
