Natalia Uchkun sews her extravagant textile young ladies only by inspiration and has no doubt that even a small doll sometimes can change the world for the better.

As a child, Natasha often watched how her dressmaker grandmother worked. The girl was literally fascinated by the sewing machine: she could endlessly watch how the line runs out from under the paw. Later, already in her student years, Natasha sewed several sarafans for herself on the patterns of Burda magazine. However, then she could not even think that working with fabrics would be her favorite pastime. And today she gives it all her free time.
“It was at the cottage 5 years ago,” recalls Waist. “My friend Irina Gretsova, a famous master puppeteer, inspired me to create the first doll. And I was carried away! At first I just gave my friends my creations, and then decided to try selling them " Natalia immediately realized that she liked to sew freckled long-nosed beauties in unusual multilayer outfits. At the same time, she does not make dolls to order. “I work solely on inspiration,” Natasha laughs. “Sometimes the image begins with an old button accidentally found. I look at it and an almost finished model suddenly appears in my head.Of course, the button is becoming its main decoration. "

"They say that dolls are very similar to their creators. Mine is no exception!"

A close friend of Natasha - a fashion designer and owner of the Naami Moloko studio, often gives her shreds of rare fabrics, from which then amazing doll outfits are made. It is thanks to these "scraps" that a lot of doll outfits in the fashionable boho style were created.
Thanks to her passion, Natasha met a lot of interesting people and even found a job - now she conducts copyright courses and holds master classes.

3 tips for beginner puppeteers:

1. If something went wrong during the operation, do not panic. Subsequently, you can call your mistake a design idea. For example, if a hole is accidentally formed, then you can make an artistic patch on it.
2. Try to stuff your doll uniformly so that there are no bumps. A well-stuffed toy is already 50% success!
3. Do not be discouraged if at first something doesn’t work like the famous masters do! It must be remembered that you only sew the first toy.
Well, if you do not know where to start and what materials to choose, there is a great option - ready-made sets. With them, you don’t have to puzzle what to use as a stuffing and where to get doll hair for hair, while making such a tilde will be an excellent training and in time you can try yourself in completely original dolls. You can choose a ready-made kit in the BurdaStyle.ru store.
