Swiss Airlines is the national carrier of Switzerland; it operates flights from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Zurich and Geneva every day, and then all over the world.
As a true representative of Switzerland, Swiss airline took care of literally everything: it not only provides a high-quality and safe flight, but turns the flight into a real pleasure, offering pleasant little things and services. We present you a brief overview of these amenities.
1. Surprise on board
If you want to pleasantly please a loved one who plans a trip on a SWISS flight, order a small surprise for him on swiss.com: a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolate truffles or sweets. The stewardess will bring a present after gaining cruising altitude. The cost of the service varies from 25 to 59 Swiss francs, depending on the choice. The effect is guaranteed!
2. SPA on board the aircraft
Everyone knows that, primarily, our skin suffers from flying. But you can forget about this problem, because in the toilet rooms of the aircraft you will find Valmont care products - a cleansing spray and moisturizing lotion. And in the first class on intercontinental flights, you will have at your disposal an individual Bally cosmetic bag with la prairie products. By the way, do not forget to put on makeup before the flight - the crew assures that the makeup provides additional protection against bacteria and dry air in the cabin.Advice from stewardesses: after applying a moisturizer, blot your face and hands with a napkin so that moisture evaporating does not dry your skin even more.
3. Fly Rail Service
If you are flying to Switzerland, you can check in your baggage immediately to your destination. You hand over your luggage to Domodedovo or Pulkovo, and you get it already at the railway station closest to the vacation spot. Lovers of ski holidays will especially like this service: they no longer need to carry heavy equipment.
4. Pre-order products from duty free
For those who do not want to spend time searching for the right product, perfume or gift at the airport, there is a great solution: pre-order on swiss.com. On the site you will find a catalog of products that you can order, immediately pay and receive already on board SWISS.
5. Advance reservation
If you want to sit at the emergency exit during the flight, where it will be possible to settle in with great comfort, it is worth booking a seat in advance (the service is paid). You can do this for free, when you open online check-in 23 hours before departure, however, in this case, most likely, the most comfortable places will be booked.
6. Comfort package
When booking a ticket on swiss.com, you can choose the cheapest fare, and then get an upgrade to business class at half price or even cheaper. Having bought a Comfort Package, you will receive all business class services, including a waiting room and priority baggage claim. The exception is directly the fare rules and baggage allowance - they comply with the rules of the originally purchased fare.7.SIM card with the best rate
In order not to overpay in roaming, use the advantageous solution from SWISS: SWISS Mobile international prepaid SIM card. It can be purchased on board SWISS, and upon arrival, use the phone and the Internet at almost the local price level in more than 180 countries.8. Special menu
Swiss offers about 20 options for a special menu: kosher, vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, nut-free, gluten-free, for babies, baby, low-salt, diabetic, halal and others. So, if you follow some kind of diet, just a few days before departure just order a special meal for yourself (the service is free).
