Elk with a bridle and a saddle, a tree with multi-colored hearts or a chair cover with a pocket in the shape of a Christmas boot - choose what you like best!

HEART WITH A HEART

Arrange a fabulous forest at home! Add a magic tree to a traditional Christmas tree.
YOU WILL NEED: a beautiful large branch, felt of different colors, threads for sewing and embroidery in different colors, needles for sewing and embroidery, cotton wool for stuffing, satin ribbons, multi-colored beads, small metal bells and other small Christmas decorations, pencil. Phantom marker, ordinary scissors, zigzag scissors, textile glue, craft cardboard, adhesive pads or duct tape to fix the branch on the floor.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The motive of the heart is copied to a size of 10 and 20 cm in height. Motives cut and put on cardboard. Circle the contours with a pencil, cut out patterns from cardboard. Put patterns on felt and draw a marker around the outline. For each pendant, you will need two heart parts. Cut out small leaves, flowers, hearts and deer from felt, stick on large hearts with textile glue. If you want to sew on beads, beautiful buttons, iron rhinestones, translate applications or perform different embroidery.
Sew two parts of the heart, leave a small hole at the top. Fill with light cotton and sew a hole in the seam, while grabbing a loop of approx. 15 cm from a sateen tape.
Cut some hearts along the contour with scissors "zigzag", others embroider the edges with a scallop stitch. Sew bells on a few hearts.
Hang the branch to the ceiling so that it touches the floor with the bottom edge. Secure with sticky pads so that the branch does not spin. Hang hearts.
TIP You can not hang a branch with hearts from the ceiling, but put it in a vessel filled with sand.

WOODEN ELK

Great home decor on New Year's Eve. The figurine is simply leaned against the wall, and put in the snow in the garden.
YOU WILL NEED: plywood size OK. 60 x 60 cm, 12 mm thick. A small saw or jigsaw, drill, drill for wood. Sandpaper, acrylic paints in white and other colors, varnish, paint roller, brushes, permanent marker, satin tape, pencil, scissors, adhesive tape.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Copy and increase the motif to 60 cm in height, fix it on plywood with adhesive tape, draw a pencil around the outline. Saw, sand the edges with sandpaper. Wipe off dust thoroughly. Coat with white paint for the primer (using a paint roller), allow to dry. Paint the deer with other paints with a brush. Let the paints dry. First draw the nostrils, eyes and saddle with a pencil, then repeat with a marker. The pattern on the saddle is done with a brush and paints. Let the paints dry. Drill a hole for the bridle, varnish the deer.Pass the satin ribbon into the bridle hole and tie it in a knot.
TIPS If your moose is standing in the garden, varnish it for outdoor use.
You can make a figure of any size, but a small moose is more difficult to cut.

NEW YEAR CASE FOR CHAIR

The back of this cover is decorated with an applique pocket in the form of a Christmas boot, and small gifts are hidden in it.
YOU WILL NEED: natural linen, shreds of colored fabrics, for example, in a cage of vichy or striped. Suitable threads for sewing, flizofiks, measuring tape, wrapping paper, ruler, pencil, cardboard for crafts, scissors, threads for sewing, pins, sewing machine.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Measure the chair as shown. It is important to know the width and overall length of the web from the front legs, through the seat, through the back to the rear legs.
Cut out a part for the cover, at the same time add 3 cm to the measures of the folding chair on the long sides, 6 cm on the short sides.
Wrap the fabric over long sections twice on the inside by 1.5 cm, pin, iron and stitch to the edge. On narrow sides, also bend, but on both sides, turn 3 cm on the inside.

For pocket, trim colored fabric to size. 30 x 36 cm. The upper edge is double-wound on the wrong side, 3 cm wide, and sewn into the edge.
Motive boot increase to approx. 20 cm in height, transfer to cardboard and cut. To iron a flizofiks on a fabric flap. Put the template and draw a pencil outline on the transfer paper of the non-flowing tissue. To cut. Remove the paper layer of flizofiksa, iron the boot on the pocket and stitch it with a tight zigzag.
Put the cover on the chair and mark the position of the pocket on the back. Sew on a pocket.
Sew 4 stitches approx. Approx.25 cm and a width of 4 cm. To do this, cut out strips with a width of approx. 8 cm + 3 cm for allowances. Clean up the ties.
Lay the cover on the chair and mark the position of the ties. Sew on stitches.
