As part of the theme of the issue "Delicate Flower" we talk about everything that will please connoisseurs of floral prints, romantic fashion and just those who love flowers in all kinds! Today we will show you dozens of different ways to create a flower with your own hands.
1. Flower rosette made of fabric: master class
Such a flower can be sewn onto an elastic band, decorate a dress, belt or use as a brooch.
You will need:
- a strip of fabric (here 5x63 cm);
- felt for leaves;
- scissors;
- needle for hand sewing;
- thick cotton thread for sewing;
- textile glue;
- sewing machine and thread.
Step 1
Fold a strip of fabric in half along the inside out and round the corners as shown in the photo.
Step 2
Align the line with a zigzag line, as shown in the photo.
Thread the thick thread into the needle for hand sewing and skip under the zigzag stitches. Collect the strip on the thread.
Step 3
Form a socket by twisting the strip in a spiral, pull the thread and sew the flower below with a few stitches.
Step 4
Cut out from felt 2 leaves and a circle. Glue the leaves and the socket with textile glue to the circle. Done.

2. Lush flowers with delicate petals: a master class
These flowers most resemble chrysanthemums. The size can be chosen different.
You will need:
- the cloth;
- scissors for fabric;
- cardboard, pencil and paper scissors for the template;
- threads and needle for hand sewing;
- iron and ironing board.
Step 1
Draw a template on the cardboard (see photo 1). Cut the strip from the fabric a little wider than the height of the template, multiplied by 2. Fold the strip in half lengthwise and iron. Fold a stripe with a pattern-wide accordion (photo 3). Cut the petals, focusing on the pattern.
Step 2
Bend a strip on a thread. Form a flower, folding the gathered strip with a spiral, pull the thread and sew the flower underneath. Done.

3. Flowers made of fabric or ribbons: master class
In this simple way, you can make flowers and strips of fabric or from wide ribbons.
You will need:
- a strip of fabric or tape;
- tailor pins;
- scissors;
- needle for hand sewing and thread;
- glue gun.
Step 1
On a tape or strip, lay the needle in the middle of the seam forward and pick it up.
Step 2
Assemble the strip with a spiral, forming a flower. From below, pin the flower with pins.
Step 3
Fasten the flower from below with glue from the gun.
When the glue has dried, remove the pins. Cut the threads if necessary. Done.

4. Chiffon Flowers with Beadwork
