An interesting folded relief at this pillow - both front and back.

Best of all, such a pillow will look from a plain, not too thin fabric. So the relief will look especially interesting.

Fancy decorative pillows: 10 ideas with instructions

Step 1

For a pillow with a diameter of about 35 cm, you need one rectangular piece measuring 244x48 cm. You can sew it from two pieces of fabric if there is not enough width. Lay the ironed part upside down on the working surface and draw lines parallel to the short sides at a distance of 5 cm from each other over the entire width of the part. For each line, lay folds 2.5 cm wide. Each pin fold with pins on top, bottom and in the middle.

Step 2

Draw a line perpendicular to the creased pleats in the middle of the part. Set aside 10 cm from this line up and down and draw another 2 lines. Sew lines along these 2 lines. Leave 0.7 cm from the top and bottom edges of the part and also draw lines and line them. Sew 2 short edges of the part to snap it into a circle.

Step 3

Use a hand needle with a thick strong thread to lay the seam forward the needle along one of the lines at the edge and assemble the edge by pulling it well. Fasten the thread.

Step 4

Sew a button in the center of the front side.

Step 5

Assemble the second edge as the previous one, but do not tighten the thread. Fill the pillow with filler. Then pull the thread, fasten it. Sew a button in the middle. Done!
