A very simple lined cosmetic bag that can be sewn even without a sewing machine.
Despite its simplicity, this small handbag looks charming. It holds its shape well due to the density of felt and reinforcement with non-woven fabric. The latter also will not allow the edges of the lining to crumble.
From the old new: cosmetic bag from old jeans
You will need:
- felt;
- lining fabric;
- adhesive non-woven;
- water-soluble, self-adhesive non-woven or tissue paper for transferring embroidery patterns;
- tissue paper;
- scissors;
- breadboard knife and mat mat;
- lightning 15 cm long;
- floss for embroidery;
- needle for hand sewing;
- tailor pins;
- clamps;
- iron.

Step 1
Make a pattern. Download the pattern with the embroidery scheme here.
Step 2
Transfer the embroidery pattern to a self-adhesive non-woven fabric and glue it to the felt (you can also use tissue paper: transfer the pattern to it and pin it with pins). Embroider. Remove non-woven with water (remove paper). Dry the felt and strengthen it from the inside with fleelin by gluing it with an iron.
Step 3
Glue the non-woven fabric to the lining fabric with an iron and cut out the lining part.
Step 4
Cut the part from the felt.Cut the holes for the zipper in the details of the felt and lining fabric (it is convenient to make this a breadboard knife).
Step 5
Pin and sew the zipper by hand.
Step 6
Fasten the edges of the purse with clips and sew it by hand. Done.
