Embroidery as a new painting: instagram of the week

You will need:

- tablecloth (scarf and so on);

- small hoops;

- paper and pencil;

- pencil for fabric;

- floss suitable colors;

- needle for embroidery.

Hoops of different types: which to choose, how to use?

Step 1

Lay out the item to be decorated on the work surface. On paper, circle a few circles with a diameter slightly smaller than the diameter of your hoop and cut. Arrange circles on things to indicate where motifs with embroidery will be located. Circle them with a pencil or cloth.

Step 2

Choose a floss of harmonious colors for each motive.

Step 3

Mark motif details on the fabric inside the circle. Hoop the fabric so that the circle is in the center.

Step 4

Embroider!

Along the edge of the intended circle, you can stitch the needle forward, indicating the boundary of the motive.
