It happens that the iron is not at hand, it is impossible to use it or to iron simply simply there is no time. A few simple ways to get rid of clothes from bruises, plus a super recipe for "liquid iron" - in our selection.

1. Select a washing and spin cycle

If you know in advance that the clothes you are washing, you will not touch the iron, but it should look ironed, carefully select the washing and spinning modes. Wash in the "delicate" or "manual" mode, and select the spin at the lowest speed. So the thing is less remembered during the washing process. Do not forget the air conditioning. Rinsing with fabric softener not only gives things a pleasant aroma, but also gives less wrinkles and bruises both during washing and subsequently when worn.

2. Dry in a special way

After washing an item that cannot be ironed and squeezing it at minimum speed, first spread it on a flat surface covered with a good moisture-absorbing cloth - for example, a towel. When the bulk of the water is gone, the shirt, blouse, pants, skirt, dress can be dried, as it should be straightened and hung on a hanger. In the case of knitwear, especially knitwear, it is better not to use a hanger so that the clothes do not stretch out of shape.Dry the knitted fabric when it is laid out on the fabric, changing the fabric several times to dry. By the way, such a gentle way of washing and drying will help to maintain a good look for a long time in sweaters and sweaters made of cashmere, alpaca and other beautiful, but capricious in the care of natural materials. Things from not too thin cotton knitwear can be shaken several times before drying, straightening them — this will help smooth out the wrinkles that have formed during washing.

3. Drying with ice

If your washing machine has a drying function, to smooth things, put them in the drum dry, add a few ice cubes and turn on "drying." The method is more suitable for things from thin and light fabrics.

4. Steam ironing

This is not about using a steam generator instead of an iron, but about the situation of the lack of both (and often also time). Significantly smooth out the crumpled thing by hanging it on the shoulders above a source of hot steam. For example, a bathtub filled with hot water, a shower cabin, a pot of boiling water on a stove are suitable.

5. Water or a damp towel

A crumpled dry thing can be moistened with water from a spray bottle (or just by hand) and, having straightened, left to dry - the wrinkles will be smoothed out. Attention: this method is not suitable for any fabric: on some things (silk, cotton knitwear, thin synthetic fabrics), after drying, water stains may remain. The second option is to wet two towels with water from the spray bottle and put the item on a flat surface between them for a few minutes,then take out the wet thing, straighten it and dry it on a hanger (or even directly on itself). If time is running out, use a hairdryer.

6. “Extreme” ironing methods

The methods described below are really quite extreme, and you should use them with caution. However, they can help out, for example, on a trip or in a time pressure situation.
So:
- ironing on an incandescent bulb (suitable for smoothing small areas - a cloth must be drawn several times on a hot bulb);
- Ironing with hair tongs (will help restore the “arrows” on the trousers or stroke the cuffs and collar of the shirt);
- Ironing "under the mattress" (will work if the bed base is solid, and not from the slats - for the night the thing is put under the mattress, removed in the morning, somewhat smoothed out).

7. "Liquid Iron"

Finally, the recipe is an almost universal tool that allows you to iron even the most delicate fabrics without an iron.
For a "liquid iron" you need:
- ¼ cup 9% vinegar;
- ¼ cup of water;
- 3 tablespoons of fabric softener.
We mix the components properly and fill them in a bottle with a spray bottle. In order to properly iron a thing with such a composition, it is better to moisten it with a "liquid iron" all and leave to dry. The second option is to use two towels (see paragraph 5). The third, fastest option is suitable for eliminating bruises in a couple of minutes: “zip” several times from the spray gun to the crease - the fabric will dry and the bruise will disappear.
