Homemade oversize cuffs

If you follow the street fashion, then you probably noticed the oversized shirt cuffs. We propose to make such cuffs with your own hands.

To work you will need:

- White shirt
- cotton fabric (we chose white so that it fits the shirt)
- interlining
- scissors
- tailor pins
- spreader
- needle and thread for sewing
- sewing machine

Step 1

Cut or unlock the cuffs from the sleeves of the shirt.

Step 2

Now we need to carve out new cuffs from cotton fabric and duplicate them with non-woven fabric for dimensional stability.
Draw a pattern of cuffs of the size you need, for this use the ruler. We drew a trapezoid cuff to give it a bell shape. In our case, the length of the cuff is 20 cm.

Step 3

Duplicate the details of the cuffs with non-woven, iron the adhesive pad through the cotton cloth.

Step 4

Chip the cuff parts with pins into short cuts and the bottom long cut. Leave the upper sections of the cuffs open to twist and stitch to the sleeves of the shirt.
