Charming products, lovingly sewn from shreds, will not leave anyone indifferent. Thanks to our step-by-step instructions, even those who have no experience in sewing can easily do this job!

What you need: when sewing from shreds, the quality of fabrics plays an important role. Therefore, for each product, select beautiful patches of similar quality.
The lower (back) side is sewn from one piece of fabric.
In addition, you will need: sewing thread, a roller cutter, scissors, cotton thread for machine embroidery and darning, volumennlies Volumenvlies, bedding for cutting fabrics and a ruler, sewing needles, pins, including English, sewing machine, Aqua marker (Prym), traces of which disappear when wet.

STEP 1. First, reveal all the details for the inner motif of the star: 4 squares and 4 triangles from the background fabric (blue), then 1 square and 8 triangles from the fabric for stars (with a red pattern). Tip: with the help of a roller cutter, you can easily cut many layers of fabric at once - the work will go much faster!

STEP 2. Sew the pieces face to face in 2 short and 2 long strips: 2 triangles of fabric for the star and 1 triangle of the background fabric make one short strip.
For a long strip, besides them, sew on a square from the background fabric on both sides.

Step 3 Sew a short, then a long stripe to the middle square.
Cut protruding wedges (see photo).

STEP 4. Now repeat the process again! For the big star, cut out the details again, as described above, but from contrasting fabric and in other sizes. Sew the triangles and squares into a strip, and then sew them along the edges of a small star, as described above.

STEP 5. Move the finished stars until the picture seems harmonious to you. After that, download the details.

STEP 6. Fold the upper side sewn from shreds, the non-woven fabric and the part for the lower side, often pin together everything. Now quilt the product: sew all three layers together, starting from the center.
Tip: draw curved lines with a marker.
Patch Pillow
Size: approx. 70 x 70 cm.
You will need: remnants of cotton fabrics, preferably with the effect of "powder"; thin fabric as a lining for the upper side; cotton fabric for the underside of the pillow; volume flizelin Volumenvlies 640 or 630; sewing threads (ideally - cotton threads for machine embroidery and darn from Coats); roller cutter; bedding for cutting fabrics; ruler for cutting; Aqua marker (Prym); safety pins for quilting; quilting frame; matching color zip length
50 cm; ready-made pillow 60 x 60 cm (or calico 1.50 m long, 90 cm wide + stuffing).
Completing of the work:
to sew a pillow cover of 2 large stars 30 x 30 cm, as well as 8 small stars of size. 15 x 15 cm (for the location of the parts, see diagram B).
Stitch large and small stars, then stitch them together, mark lines for quilting, as described below.
From the cotton fabric, cut 4 strips for the border, a and b, 6.5 cm wide (specify the length of the strips when the piece of shreds is ready). Stitch strips to the patchwork part: the upper side of the cushion cover is ready.
Iron the gasket to the upper side of the pillow. From a thin fabric, cut the part to the size of the upper side of the pillow.
Sweep and stitch the upper side of the cushion with a gasket and a piece of thin fabric, as described in the instructions for sewing bedspreads.
Sew the underside of the pillow with a zipper. To do this, download 2 pieces of approx. 40 x 72 cm. Stitch the parts along a long cut, the width of the seam is 2 cm, in the middle leave the seam open to a length of 50 cm. Iron out the allowances and sew a zipper under them.Fold the top and bottom sides of the pillow face to face, open the zipper and grind all open sections. The allowances at the corners are cut obliquely, cut along the straight edges close to the line and overcast. Release cover for pillow, pull out corners.
For the English border, sew the edges of the pillow through all the layers exactly along the strip. Sew a pillow: cut 2 pieces of calico size. 62 x 62 cm. Stitch at a distance of 1 cm from the sections, leave a hole in the seam for turning out.
Fill the pillow, sew a hole in the seam. Insert the pillow into the cover.
Patch cover
SIZE OK. 170 x 140 cm.
You will need: Remains of cotton fabrics, preferably with the effect of "powder"; cotton fabric for the underside of the bedspread; volume gasket Volumenvlies 295; sewing threads (ideally - cotton threads for machine embroidery and darn from Coats); litter for cutting; ruler for cutting; roller cutter; Prym Aqua marker (markings disappear when wet); safety pins for quilting (or a special glue spray or special thread for quilting); frame for stitches.
Scheme A
Completing of the work:
General instructions: the patchwork side consists of 9 large size stars.
30 x 30 cm, as well as 12 small stars. 15 x 15 cm. For details, see diagram A.
Tip: for greater clarity of what fabrics to cut out of the patchwork segments, color the scheme, And with different felt-tip pens.

Scheme B
Big star: see diagram B.
Cutting:cut according to the instructions below. Roller cutter
You can cut parts from many layers of fabric at once. The direction of the thread should be parallel to the edges of the square.
Legend:
A-g = necessary details (see also diagram B). Dimensions in centimeters indicate the length of the side of the squares. The dimensions also include allowances for seams 0.75 cm wide.
* = cut a square according to the given size
** = cut a square according to the given size and cut 1 time diagonally
*** = cut a square according to the given size and cut 2 times diagonally
You will need:
A = 9 cm, 4x * from the first fabric for the background
B = 18.5 cm, 1x *** from the first fabric for the background
C = 10 cm, 4x ** from the first fabric for a star
D = 5.25 cm, 4x * from the second fabric for the background
E = 11 cm, 1x *** from the second fabric for the background
F = 6.25 cm, 4x ** from the second fabric for the star
G = 9 cm, 1x * from the second fabric for the star

Stitching
First, grind the details for the inner star (see diagram C 1-4):
From 1: you need 4 parts f / e / f.
Please pay attention to scheme D and the instructions for scheme D below.
C 2: stitch one part to the two parts on the right and on the left d.
C 3: stitch part g between the two remaining parts.
From 4: grind three parts; before grinding, cut off protruding wedges on allowances. Do not pay attention to the additional inscription (d / f / e / f / d), it only means how 2 small stars coalesce in the future.

Instructions for Scheme D
D 1: fold triangles e and f face to face and grind.
D 2: lay out the parts flat, iron allowances on one side, stitch the other triangle.
D 3: the section of the grinding of parts f should look like in the figure. Later it will be closed with a seam.

Stitch a large star to all the edges of a small (see diagram E)
E 1: 4 times to grind parts c to parts b.
E 2: stitch along one of these parts from above and below to a small star.
E 3: to the remaining two parts c / b / c to the right and left, stitch one part a each.
E 4: stitch these parts on the right and left to a small star.
Assembly of the top (patchwork) side of the bedspread
Stack large and small stars in panels (see diagram F),
stitching the storages along the long sides.
From the cotton fabric, cut 4 strips for the border, a and b, 9 cm wide, from another cotton fabric, cut 4 stripes for the border with and d 16.5 cm wide (see diagram A), specify the length of the border when the top side of the bedspread is completely stitched).
Border strips according to the scheme, A to stitch to the patchwork side of the bedspread in the order a-b-c-d.
Quilting
An aqua marker to mark on the patchwork side of the bedspread quilting lines. For stitch motifs, you can use both ready-made and self-made patterns.
According to the size of the upper side of the bedspread, cut out 1 part of the strip made of non-woven fabric and 1 part for the lower side of cotton fabric. Fold all three layers of the bedspread together and secure with safety pins, glue-spray or a special thread for quilting.
Sew the stitch manually along softly curved lines. When quilting, grab all three layers; as a result, a beautiful quilted pattern appears on the underside of the bedspread. When quilting without a frame, folds are easily formed on the underside of the bedspread, therefore, when quilting the bedspread, the motive behind the motive should be fixed relatively tightly in the frame. It is necessary to start the stitch from the middle and work towards the periphery until all marked lines are quilted. Spray a completely quilted cover with clean water so that the marking lines disappear.
Edging
Cut out strips of 4 cm wide in a straight thread (not oblique like oblique ties!). Stitch along the short sides until the strip reaches a length of 6.2 m. Stitch the strip to the two opposite sides of the cover as follows: stitch the stripes face to the face, then unscrew the bedspreads on the patchwork side, tuck them there and sew them by hand with hidden stitches.
- On the other two opposite sides, turn the ends of the strips about 2 cm, stitch them face-to-face to the sections of the bedspreads, wrap them on the underside of the bedspreads and sew them by hand. Sew open sections manually with countersunk stitches.
